After 15 years of climbing the ranks at Cerner Corp., from intern to multiple executive roles, Alex Benson wanted to tackle a new challenge in Kansas City’s digital health sphere.
That venture ended up being Bardavon Health Innovations, an Overland Park company that provides digital platforms designed to improve patient care for workers recovering from musculoskeletal injuries. After only three years, he’s now leading Bardavon as CEO.
The health tech company was founded by local entrepreneur Matt Condon in 2013. As the company has notched consistent growth, it has attracted an extensive Cerner pipeline beyond Benson, from its board members, to investors, to employees.
