This one-hour presentation is designed to introduce Case Managers and Adjusters to the latest evidence-based practice for hand therapy of common workplace injuries. The topics will include common work-related musculoskeletal disorders, sprains and strains, and complex injuries. We will also touch upon barriers for RTW of the employee with an Upper Extremity injury

This course is eligible for 1 hour CEU for adjusters in MS and NC, Nurses RN and CCM. To complete the course, you must stay the whole hour and answer 3 questions throughout the presentation.

About the Speaker

Pam Tutten, OTD, OT, CHT is a multi-talented occupational therapist with a passion for hand therapy.

She holds a dual Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy and Psychology, a Doctor of Occupational Therapy degree, and is a Certified Hand Therapist.

Pam is a practicing clinician at Benchmark Physical Therapy in Clayton, NC, and a partner in Benchmark clinics across Georgia and North Carolina.

Her expertise extends to worker rehabilitation through certifications in Ergoscience, ARCON, and WORKSTEPS systems.

Pam’s dedication to education is evident in her roles as an instructor and mentor for the Hand Therapy Fellowship program at Upstream Rehab Institute and faculty at the Institute for Advanced Musculoskeletal Treatment (IAMT), where she co-developed and teaches a 2-day continuing education course, “Hand Therapy Bootcamp.”
