Often times with prolonged courses of therapy with minimal functional progress leave stakeholders in a workers’ compensation claim wondering when if ever this claim is going to end.   This course will review potential lack of knowledge in physical demands, sustainable functional capacity and return to work process can cause increased time to end of a care and return to work.

Common gaps in information that facilitate a return to full-time injured worker engagement or employment are reviewed in this course.  The value of physical demands analyses, comprehensive functional capacity and fit for duty testing, appropriate therapy mode / documentation and ergonomic assessment / job coaching will be discussed as it relates to prioritization of bringing claims to a close.
